This blog was created for students teachers to reflect on their teaching experience at school and share this experience with one another. As each shares and collaborates on best practices, successes as well as mistakes in teaching ESL, it is hoped that student teachers will benefit from such collaborative reflections on this blog platform and continue to appreciate the use of such a platform for further collaborations even after Teaching Practice.

Something from Wendy Wu

Sometimes, what students need more is not just a professional teacher who knows his/her stuff well, but also one that helps them emotionally; thus, open the knots in their hearts, especially those teenagers who are sensitive, moody and obstinate.

  1. This quote by Wendy really strike me very deeply. I totally agree with what she said in her post. I believe if the teacher is able to build a good bond/relationship with the students, then it shouldn't be a problem for the teacher to carry out his/her lesson in the class as the students will definitely cooperate with the teacher during the T&L. Teachers should make the students feel that they are there to help them - not only to teach/provide them useful knowledge for their future but to mould them to become a better individual as well. Thanks for sharing it here. :)
